hey, I have a Marshall MG100HFX, I was told I should buy a pre amplifier, so I started to look into them and Amplifier Pre I found one of interest, it is the Marshall JMP - 1 , http://www.kellyindustries.com/guitars/marshall_jmp1.html , but I was wondering if I could use the JMP - 1 with my MG100HFX amp? If you can suggest something better than the JMP - 1 that would work with my amp, please do.Thanks. :)

bigjones It is possible but the sound quality will not be very good. I like my spider 30watt, but the speakers could have been made better. if you want, you can buy mics that will connect directly to the guitar imput. ..and for bigjones37, a line6 spider III is meant for a ‘guitar’ not for ‘talking’ out of.

Out-puts of the Mixer got to the Pre-(amp) Ins of the Amplifier.
